Dr. Georgij Manzanov

Georgij Manzanov was born in Ulan-Ude. He graduated from Burayt State University, Doctor of Science. PhD was obtained at Philosophical Department in Saint Petersburg State University. He is a leading specialist in the Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies of Siberian Department of Russian Science Academy in Ulan-Ude. Science interests – Religious Studies, Buddhism, Philosophy, Sociology of Religion. Since 1983 he hold regularly researches in different regions of ethnic Buryatiya.
